Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (G1885343): Removal

Remove the left air cleaner.
Refer to: LEFT AIR CLEANER
Partially drain the coolant from the engine.
Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING (G2131524) .

Disconnect the electrical connector.
CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.

NOTE: Inspect the O-ring, replace if damaged or worn.

Release the engine coolant temperature sensor retaining clip.
