Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION Cooler Bypass Valve Electronic Vacuum Regulating Valve

The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler bypass Electronic Vacuum Regulating Valve (EVRV) is located on a bracket at the rear of the engine, adjacent to the vacuum pump.
The EGR cooler bypass EVRV receives a 12V supply from Powertrain Control Module (PCM) relay in the Engine Junction Box (EJB). The PCM controls the operation of the EVRV by controlling the ground path for the EVRV solenoid. The controlled EVRV turns vacuum on or off to the vacuum actuator.
