Charge Air Coolant Pump

The charge air coolant pump is an electric pump attached to the rear left side of the engine cooling fan shroud.
Electrical power for the charge air coolant pump is supplied from the charge air coolant pump relay, located in the Engine Junction Box (EJB). Operation of the charge air coolant pump is controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal. When the charge air coolant pump is running, coolant flows from the pump outlet through the charge air cooler, the charge air radiator and back to the pump inlet connection.
