Variable Camshaft Timing Solenoid (G2415554): Removal

If this component is being renewed because of a customer complaint, make sure to follow the electronic engine control system 'Diagnosis and Testing' procedure.

Remove the engine cover.

Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) solenoid.

- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the VCT solenoid.
- Examine the O-ring seal replace if damaged or worn.
