Heated Oxygen Sensor (G1947563): Removal

CAUTION: Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.
NOTE:

  • This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
  1. Remove the engine cover.

    Refer to: ENGINE COVER - INGENIUM I4 2.0L DIESEL

  2. Remove the secondary bulkhead right panel.

    Refer to: SECONDARY BULKHEAD LEFT PANEL - INGENIUM I4 2.0L DIESEL

    • Disconnect the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) electrical connector.
    • Release the clip.

    Use the special tool to remove the heated oxygen sensor.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1666
