The charge air temperature sensor - High Pressure (HP) Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler outlet is located in the HP EGR cooler outlet pipe to the inlet manifold.
The charge air temperature sensor receives a 5V reference voltage from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The charge air temperature sensor returns a signal relative to the temperature of the exhaust gas output from the HP EGR cooler.
