Sliding Roof Panel Blind Guides (G2431282): Removal

This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.

CAUTION: Do not apply downward pressure to the sliding roof panel blind when installed to the guide rails.

NOTE: Some vehicles may require the ignition to be switched off at the point of 300 mm to prevent the sliding roof panel blind from moving.

Operate the sliding roof panel blind until it protrudes from the headlining by 300 mm.

- Pull the sliding roof panel blind from the front right corner as illustrated, to release the clip.
- Repeat this step for the left side.
CAUTION: Make note of the installed orientation and routing of the adjustment cable.

- Reposition the adjustment cable away from the sliding roof blind guide.
- Repeat this step for the left side.

- Remove the guide from the sliding roof panel blind assembly.
- Repeat this step for the left side.
