Roof Opening Panel Frame (G2062511): Removal

Remove the roof opening panel.

Remove the roof opening panel blind.

NOTE: The procedure must be carried out on both sides.

Remove the roof mouldings.

NOTE:
- If equipped.
- The procedure must be carried out on both sides.
Remove the roof rails.

Remove both roof opening panel side finishers.

Apply masking tape to protect paintwork.

Remove the guide pins.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Detach the clip from the roof panel.
WARNING: Wear safety goggles, protective gloves and ear protectors.

Carefully cut through the sealant using a glazing knife.
NOTE: This step requires the aid of another technician.

With assistance, remove the roof opening panel assembly.

Remove all residual adhesives from the mating faces.
CAUTION: Make sure that all residual spacer material is removed from the body.

Remove the spacers.
