Roof Opening Panel (G2006444): Overview

CAUTION:
To prevent accidental damage, make sure that any roof rack load will not interfere with the opening of the roof opening panel.
There are two options of glass roof panel:
- The fixed system
- The opening system.
The fixed system contains the following:
- A glass roof panel
- A roof blind assembly
- An electric operating motor, mechanisms and wiring harness.
The opening system contains the following:
- A roof opening panel
- A rear glass roof panel
- A roof blind assembly
- Two electric operating motors, mechanisms and wiring harness
- Two drain tubes.
The fixed system contains an electric motors, which operates the roof blind. The roof blind motor is located in the rear of the roof blind frame and fixed to the frame with three bolts.
The opening system contains two electric motors. One of the motors operates the roof opening panel. The other motor operates the roof blind. Both motors are located in the rear of the roof blind frame. Each motor is fixed to the frame with three bolts.
The roof opening panel and the roof blind are controlled by switches in the front overhead console.
A roof opening panel air deflector is deployed when the roof opening panel is open.
