Anti-Trap Mechanism

The roof opening panel has an 'anti-trap' protection function which stops the panel from closing if an obstruction is sensed. When an obstruction is sensed, the motors automatically retract the panel as far as possible to prevent serious injury or damage to the mechanism. When the obstruction is removed, you can close the panel by using the normal method. The anti-trap mechanism can be overridden to allow the roof to be closed when movement is restricted by dirt. To override the anti-trap mechanism, keep pressing first step of the switch until the roof reaches the closed position.
