Hood (G2318622): Installation

- Install the 4 hood rubber bumpers.
- Install the hood latches.
Torque : 24 Nm
- Install the hood insulation pad.

Install the hood.
Torque : 24 Nm

Install the hood supporting struts.
- Align the hood.

NOTE:
- Only complete this step if a new tailgate has been installed.
- For successful adhesion, the temperature of the badge adhesive must be at least 20°C. Heat the component if required.
- The temperature difference between the badge adhesive and the vehicle surface must be less than 5°C.
- The new hood badge is supplied on a cassette which is highlighted in blue on the illustration.
- Clean the area prior to installation of the hood badge with a suitable cleaner.
- Using the center of the front grille as a reference point, install the hood badge to the dimensions shown in the illustration.
