Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel (G2018928): Installation

NOTE: Install the trim retaining clips in the moulding prior to installing the components.

Install the auxiliary lighting switch.
Install the tailgate release switch.
- Install the Electric Park Brake (EPB) switch.
- Tighten the 4 screws.
- Install the instrument panel lower trim panel.
- Connect the on-board diagnostic connector.
- Tighten the 6 screws.
  Torque : 5 Nm
CAUTION:
- Take extra care not to damage the component.
- Inspect the clips and replace if damaged.
- Connect the 3 electrical connectors.
- Install the instrument panel passenger side moulding.
- Install the instrument cluster trim panel.
- Tighten the 2 screws.
  Torque : 5 Nm
Tighten the instrument panel passenger moulding 6 screws.
Torque : 5 Nm
- Install the driver side face level vent.
- Tighten the 3 screws.
  Torque : 5 Nm
- Install the instrument panel outer trim panel.
- Tighten the 4 screws.
  Torque : 5 Nm
Install the steering column upper cover.
- Install the steering column lower cover.
- Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Tighten the 2 screws.
CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the clips.

NOTE: Repeat the step for the other side.

Install the instrument panel end trim panel.
NOTE: Repeat the step for the other side.

Position the door weatherstrip.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the driver side footwell trim panel.
- Tighten the 3 screws.
Install the floor console upper trim.
