Ignition Switch (G2218893): Removal

NOTE: This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.

Adjust the steering wheel to the lowest position.
Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

Remove the steering column upper trim panel.

Release the door weatherstrip.

Remove the instrument panel end trim panel.

Remove the retaining screws.

- Remove the instrument panel passenger side moulding.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the ignition switch.
