GLOVEBOX (G2135526): Installation

NOTE: Install the trim retaining clips in the moulding prior to installing the components.

NOTE: Only do the following step if a new component is to be installed.

Install the lock.
- Connect the glovebox cooling duct.
- Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Install the glovebox.
- Install and tighten the 9 bolts.
  Torque : 9 Nm
CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the component.

NOTE: Replace damaged clips.
- Connect the 3 electrical connectors.
- Install the instrument panel passenger side moulding.
- Install the instrument cluster trim panel.
- Install and tighten the 2 screws.
  Torque : 5 Nm
- Install and tighten the instrument panel passenger moulding 6 screws.
  Torque : 5 Nm
- Install the driver side face level vent.
- Install and tighten the 3 screws.
  Torque : 5 Nm
- Install the instrument panel outer trim panel.
- Install and tighten the 4 screws.
  Torque : 5 Nm
Install the steering column upper cover.
- Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Install the steering column lower cover.
- Install and tighten the 2 screws.
CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the clips.

NOTE: Repeat the step for the other side.

Install the instrument panel end trim panel.
NOTE: Repeat the step for the other side.

Position the door aperture seal.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the driver side footwell trim panel.
- Install the 3 clips.
Close the glovebox lid.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the passenger side footwell trim panel.
- Install the 3 clips.
Install the floor console upper trim.
