Removal And Installation: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

    Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .

  3. Refer to: AUXILIARY HEATER CORE AND EVAPORATOR CORE HOUSING .

  5. CAUTION: Remove and discard the O-ring seals.
    NOTE: Install new O-ring seals.

    Renew Part: Thermostatic expansion valve O-ring seal kit Quantity: 1  .

    Torque Specification: 4 Nm 

  6. CAUTION: Remove and discard the O-ring seals.
    NOTE: Install new O-ring seals.
