Charge Air Pressure And Temperature Sensor

The charge air pressure and temperature sensor is located in the charge air duct to the electric throttle, after the charge air cooler. The sensor is secured with a single screw and sealed with an O-ring seal.

The charge air pressure and temperature sensor has a four pin connector which is connected to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The connector provides a 5 V reference voltage from the PCM, a pressure and a temperature signal input to the PCM and a ground connection.

The charge air pressure and temperature sensor uses a diaphragm transducer to measure the air pressure and a Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) thermistor to measure the temperature.
