- Vehicle Conditions to enable DTC Logging Strategy
- Ensure that the vehicle has a fuel level between 15 and 85%
- Ambient temperature is between 32°F and 95°F
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment carry out "small leak test"
- Refer to the relevant section of the service information and check the evaporative emissions system for leaks
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Check fuel cap installation
- Check fuel cap for correct sealing
- Check diagnostic module tank leakage air filter
