Fuel Charging and Controls: Operation: General
The ECM controls the output from the HP (high pressure) fuel pumps to deliver the required volume of fuel at pressures up to 200 Bar (2900 PSI).
The ECM uses the signal from the FRP sensor to calculate the time the fuel injectors need to be energized to deliver the correct mass of fuel to the combustion chambers.
