Removal And Installation: Removal
CAUTION:
- Take extra care not to damage the sensor during the removal and refitting of the tire.
- If a new sensor is installed, make sure that the sensor type and frequency is the same as the sensor that has been removed. Failure to follow this instruction may result in the system malfunction.
NOTE:

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.

WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the wheel.
Remove the tire from the wheel, release the tire bead from the rim 180 degrees from the valve.
- Remove the valve cap.
- Remove the TPMS sensor.
Remove and discard the TPMS sensor washer and seal.
