Removal And Installation: Installation

Install the air spring
Make sure the air spring is correctly located.
Install the air spring upper retaining clip.
Secure the air spring lower retaining clip.
CAUTION: Do not reuse the air line connector. Always install a new air line connector every time it is released.
- Renew the air line connector.
  Refer to: AIR LINE CONNECTOR .
  
  Renew Part: Air line connector(s) Quantity: 1 .
- Connect the air line.
  Torque Specification: 3 Nm
Install the rear wheel arch liner.
Refer to: REAR WHEEL ARCH LINER .
CAUTION: This step must be carried out to prevent damage to the air spring.

Using Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment complete the air suspension manual control procedure.

Refer to: AIR SUSPENSION - MANUAL CONTROL PROCEDURE .
Install the rear wheel.
Refer to: WHEEL AND TIRE - TDV6 3.0L DIESEL/TDV8 4.4L DIESEL/V6 S/C 3.0L PETROL/V8 N/A 5.0L PETROL/V8 S/C 5.0L PETROL .
Lower the vehicle to the floor.
CAUTION: This step must be carried out in order to maintain the correct compressor/dryer performance.

Using Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment pressurize the rear air spring.
