DTC P040B-62: EGR Temperature Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance - Signal compare failure: Action

Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check datalogger signal - Exhaust Gas Temperature Bank 1 Sensor 3 Voltage (0x03F6). Check for a plausible temperature value when the engine is cold. Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagram and check the high pressure exhaust gas recirculation outlet temperature sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness or install a new high pressure exhaust gas recirculation outlet temperature sensor as necessary
