Removal And Installation: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. CAUTION: Install new seals.

    Install the oil cooler.

    Renew Part: Oil cooler O-ring seals Quantity: 1  .

    Torque Specification: 10 Nm 

  2. CAUTION: Install new seals.

    Install the coolant outlet.

    Renew Part: Engine coolant outlet seal Quantity: 1  .

    Torque Specification: 10 Nm 

  3. Connect the coolant hoses.
  4. Install the vacuum reservoir.

    Torque Specification: 10 Nm 

  5. Connect the vacuum tubes.
  6. Install the glow plugs.

    Refer to: GLOW PLUGS

  7. Install a new oil filter.

    Refer to: OIL FILTER ELEMENT 

  8. Install the right valve cover.

    Refer to: RIGHT VALVE COVER 

  9. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS

  10. Fill the cooling system.

    Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING

  11. Check and top-up the engine oil.
