Removal And Installation: Removal

NOTE:

  1. Connect the diagnostic tool and set the electronic park brake (EPB) to the maintenance position.
  2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

    Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS

  3. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  4. Remove the rear wheel and tire.

    Refer to: WHEEL AND TIRE - TDV6 3.0L DIESEL/TDV8 4.4L DIESEL/V6 S/C 3.0L PETROL/V8 N/A 5.0L PETROL/V8 S/C 5.0L PETROL

  6. NOTE: Remove and discard the retaining bolts and O-ring seal.

Torque Specification: 11 Nm
