NOTE: The new bumper cover will require modifying to allow installation of exhaust pipe finishers. The following steps should be used as a guide to modifying the bumper cover and must be carried out on both sides of the bumper cover.

Place the exhaust recess trim retaining bracket inside the bumper cover making sure it is correctly aligned.
Using the retaining bracket as a guide, mark the position of the mounting holes.
Using the retaining bracket as a guide, mark the outline of the exhaust recess.
Remove the retaining bracket.
Drill the mounting holes.
Cut the bumper cover along the marked outline.
Remove any rough edges.
Install the bumper cover exhaust recess trim.

NOTE: Only carry out the following steps if a new bumper cover under rider trim is to be installed.
Remove the mounting lug from the bumper cover under rider trim.
Using the retaining bracket as a guide, mark the outline of the exhaust recess.
Using the retaining bracket as a guide, mark the position of the mounting holes.
Remove the retaining bracket.
Drill the mounting holes.
Cut the bumper cover under rider trim along the marked outline.
Remove any rough edges.
Install the bumper cover exhaust recess trim.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
