Removal And Installation: Installation
Install the block heater.
Torque Specification: 50 Nm

CAUTION: Protect the surrounding paintwork and body.
Mark the front bumper cover, using the dimensions illustrated.

CAUTION: Protect the surrounding paintwork and body.
Using a suitable tool, cut a 26mm hole in the front bumper cover.

NOTE: Note the orientation of the clips prior to removal.
Remove the retaining clips from the block heater wiring harness.
- Feed the block heater wiring harness through the hole in the front bumper cover.
Tighten the block heater wiring harness to front bumper cover retaining nut.

NOTE: Make sure that the retaining clips are installed to the noted orientation on the removal.
Install the retaining clips to the block heater wiring harness.
Feed the block heater wiring harness through the front panel at the area indicated.
- Refer to: FRONT BUMPER COVER .
Secure the block heater wiring harness.
- Feed the block heater wiring harness over the front differential.
Secure the block heater wiring harness.
Torque Specification: 10 Nm

CAUTION: Make sure the block heater wiring harness is secure and does not obstruct any moving components.
Check alignment of block heater wiring harness.

- Refer to: FRONT DRIVESHAFT - V6 S/C 3.0L PETROL/V8 N/A 5.0L PETROL/V8 S/C 5.0 L PETROL .
- Test the system for correct operation.
