General Procedures: Check

CAUTION: LH illustration shown, RH is similar.
NOTE:
  • To be carried out in the event that the vehicle has no electrical power.
  • Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  2. Remove the rear wheel and tire.

    Refer to: WHEEL AND TIRE - TDV6 3.0L DIESEL - GEN 2/TDV8 4.4L DIESEL/V6 S/C 3.0L PETROL/V8 S/C 5.0L PETROL/INGENIUM I4 2.0L DIESEL

  4. NOTE: Remove and discard the retaining bolts and O-ring seal.

    Torque Specification: 11 Nm

  6. Repeat the above procedure for the other side.
