Removal And Installation: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

    Refer to: Specifications

  2. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  3. Refer to: Cooling System Partial Draining, Filling and Bleeding 
  4. Refer to: Accessory Drive Belt

    • Torque Specifications: 9 Nm 
  8. NOTE:
    • The retaining clips cannot be removed from the pipe.

    • Torque Specifications: 47 Nm 
  10. WARNING: Fluid loss is unavoidable, use absorbent cloth or a container to collect the fluid.
    CAUTION: Engine coolant will damage the paint finished surfaces. If spilled, immediately remove the coolant and clean the area with water.
