Removal And Installation: Removal

All vehicles 

  1. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  2. Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD .

    Torque Specifications: 

    M10 60 Nm 

    M6 10 Nm

    • Remove the nut.
    • Using a suitable tool move the aeroshield down to gain access to the transmission support brace.

    • Remove the bolt illustrated.
    • Loosen the other bolt.
    • Move the transmission support brace as illustrated.

      Torque Specification: 24 Nm 

    All vehicles

    CAUTION: Make sure that the exhaust system is supported with suitable retaining straps.
    NOTE: The step must be carried out on both sides.
