Removal And Installation: Removal

CAUTION: Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.
NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Refer to: PETROL AND PETROL-ETHANOL FUEL SYSTEMS HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
  2. Refer to: FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION -- RANGE ROVER/L405
  3. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

    Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS

  9. CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping fluids.
    NOTE: During lubrication, keep the component vertically as shown.

    Lubricate with Molykote W15 as shown.

    Torque Specification: 38 Nm
