Inspection And Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
WARNING: Wait at least 30 seconds after stopping the engine before commencing any repair to the high pressure fuel system. Failure to follow this instruction may result in personal injury.
CAUTION: Before disconnecting any part of the fuel system, it is imperative that all dust, dirt and debris is removed from around components to prevent ingress of foreign matter. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the vehicle.
NOTE: If a control module or a component is suspect and the vehicle remains under manufacturer warranty, refer to the Warranty Policy and Procedures manual, or determine if any prior approval program is in operation, prior to the installation of a new module/component.
  1. Verify the customer concern
  2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of damage and system integrity
