Vacuum And Oil Scavenge Pump

The vacuum and oil scavenge pump is located at the rear of the right cylinder head and driven from the exhaust camshaft. The pump provides the vacuum used by the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR), turbocharger and brake booster systems, and scavenges oil from the turbochargers.
