Charge Air Coolant Pump
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover, 2017 Land Rover Range Rover, and 2016 Land Rover Range Rover. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The charge air coolant pump is an electric pump attached to the rear left side of the engine cooling fan shroud.
Electrical power for the charge air coolant pump is supplied from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) relay, located in the Engine Junction Box (EJB). Operation of the charge air coolant pump is controlled by the PCM with a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal. When the charge air coolant pump is running, coolant flows from the pump outlet through the charge air cooler, the charge air radiator and back to the pump inlet connection.
