Exhaust System (G1086743): Removal

  1. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).
  2. WARNING:
    • Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.
    • Observe due care when working near a hot exhaust system.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  3. Refer to: Air Deflector (Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).
  4. Refer to: Engine Rear Undershield (Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).

  7. CAUTION: Make sure that the exhaust system is supported with suitable retaining straps.

    Torque Specification: 40 Nm
