Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. CAUTION:
    • Install all the bolts finger tight before final tightening.
    • Tighten the Torx screws a turn at a time until the correct torque is achieved.
    • Make sure that new bolts are installed.
    NOTE: Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil.

    Torque Specifications: 

    Stage 1: 11 Nm 

    Stage 2: Loosen: 180°

  5. CAUTION: Install new fuel pipes.

    • Torque Specification: 

    Unions 30 Nm 

    • Torque Specification: 

    Bolts 10 Nm

  8. Refer to: Air Cleaner Intake Pipe

  9. Refer to: Engine Cover - GTDi 2.0L Petrol
  10. Connect the battery ground cable.

    Refer to: Battery Disconnect/Connect
