Removal And Installation: Removal
CAUTION:
Always carry out the cleaning process before carrying out any repairs to the fuel injection system components. Failure to follow this instruction may result in foreign matter ingress to the fuel injection system.
NOTE:
- Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

- Some components shown removed for clarity.

- Clean the fuel injection components and the surrounding areas.

- Disconnect the start up battery ground cable.
Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS

WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the engine undershield.
Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD
- Depressurize the fuel system.
Refer to the appropriate fuel system pressure release procedure.
- Remove the Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe T-Connector.

- Remove the generator.

Loosen the Torx screws a turn each at a time.
