Test Procedure

- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - OBD II Readiness Tests.
- Drive the vehicle steadily at a speed of approximately 50 mph (80 km/h) for a minimum of 10 minutes.NOTE: If a gear shift occurs during this step, the step must be repeated. To avoid gear shifts, manual gear selections or 3rd or 4th gear may be used.
- Perform three or more sharp accelerations, followed by fuel cut off:
- Drive the vehicle at a speed of approximately 55 mph (88 km/h) and select 4th gear.
- Accelerate gently and then release the accelerator pedal to trigger fuel cut off. Do not depress the accelerator pedal or brake pedal for a duration of 5 seconds.
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the readiness status of the exhaust gas sensors monitor.
