  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

    Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .

  2. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  3. Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING - TDV6 3.0L DIESEL or COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING - V6 S/C 3.0L PETROL or COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING - V8 N/A 5.0L PETROL / V8 S/C 5.0L PETROL
  4. Refer to: COWL PANEL GRILLE .
  5. Remove the RH fender splash shield.

    Refer to: FENDER SPLASH SHIELD .

    Torque Specification: 10 Nm

    Torque Specification: 55 Nm 

  8. CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping fuel.
