- Positive rail pressure governor deviation is above a threshold
- The powertrain control module measured a signal voltage above a specified range but not necessarily a short circuit to power, gain too high
- Other fuel pressure related DTCs
- Low pressure fuel system leaks or blockage
- Fuel rail pressure sensor circuit short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Connector is disconnected, connector pin is backed out, connector pin corrosion
- Fuel rail pressure sensor failure
