Removal And Installation: Removal

NOTE:

Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Refer to: Specifications .
WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.
Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING .
NOTE:
- This step should only be carried out on vehicles pre 2015.
- Remove and discard the seals.
Renew Part: Engine coolant outlet seal.

Torque Specification: 10 Nm
NOTE:
- This step should only be carried out on vehicles from 2015 onwards.
- Remove and discard the seal.
Renew Part: Engine coolant outlet seal.

Torque Specification: 10 Nm
Torque Specification: 10 Nm

CAUTION:

Do not attempt to clean the throttle body bore, build up of deposits reduces air leakage past the throttle plate at the fully closed position.
Take extra care when removing the throttle body, failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.
