The fuel LP sensor supplies a pressure signal to the ECM to enable closed loop control of the fuel pump. The fuel LP sensor is installed in a manifold in the fuel delivery line on the top of the fuel pump module.

The manifold is attached to a bracket which is located above the fuel pump module flange, on the right side of the fuel tank. The manifold has three connections; one is unused and blanked, the second receives the fuel supply from the fuel pump and the third directs the fuel from the fuel pump to the fuel delivery line to the engine. The sensor is located in the manifold and measures the fuel pressure being supplied from the fuel pump before it is delivered to the engine.
