NOTE:

All vehicles

CAUTION: Make sure that the protective tape does not leave adhesive marks on the headliner.multimedia:A supplement to the article is available.
Apply protective tape to the headliner in the areas illustrated.

NOTE: Right illustration shown, Left is similar.
Position a suitable ruler inline with the sun visor, mark the tape as illustrated. Make another mark on the tape 15mm away from the original mark.

CAUTION: Apply heatshrink or protective tape to the end of a suitable tool to protect the interior components.
Vehicles without telematics

CAUTION: Care must be taken during this operation. Do not use excessive force or the headliner may distort and a new component will need to be installed.
Using a suitable tool, release the overhead console in the locations previously marked as illustrated.

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the surrounding components.

NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
Vehicles with telematics
