Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the battery ground cable.

    For additional information, refer to: Specifications .

  2. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  4. Remove the RH rear wheel and tire.
    • Torque Specification: 140 Nm

    Remove the fender splash shield.

  7. NOTE: Discard the retaining clip.

    Remove the tamper proof cover from the fuel tank filler pipe hose clip.

  8. CAUTION: Make sure that all openings are sealed. Use new blanking caps.
