Removal And Installation: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2018 Jaguar XF and 2017 Jaguar XF. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the transmission cooler tubes.
  2. CAUTION: Install new O-ring seals.
    • Install new O-ring seals to the transmission cooler tubes.

      Renew Part: Transmission fluid cooler tubes to transmission O-ring seals. 

    • Install and tighten the bolt securing the transmission fluid cooler tubes to the transmission assembly.

    Torque Specification  : 22 Nm 

  3. Install and tighten the bolt securing the transmission fluid cooler tubes to the oil pan assembly.

    Torque Specification  : 11 Nm 

  4. Install the 2 transmission cooler tubes to the transmission cooler assembly.
    • Install the front left lower fender splash shield.
    • Install the 3 clips securing the lower fender splash shield to the vehicle body.
  6. Fill the transmission fluid.

    Refer to: Transmission Fluid Drain and Refill .

  7. Lower the vehicle.
