Pinpoint Test A: DTC Read

  1. A1: DTC READ 
    1. Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, check the engine control module for related DTC.

    Are any purge valve DTCs set?

    • Yes  : Refer to the relevant DTC Index and rectify any purge valve faults before proceeding. GO to Pinpoint Test B .
    • No  : GO to Pinpoint Test B .
