Pinpoint Test H: Fuel Pump Driver Module Tests

  1. H1: FUEL PUMP DRIVER MODULE TEST 1 
    1. Set the ignition to off.
    2. Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, check datalogger signal - Fuel Pump Duty Cycle (0x0307)
      NOTE: This test is performed whilst the fuel pump is priming the fuel system.
    3. Set the ignition to on and check the datalogger signal.

    Is the datalogger signal less than or equal to 50%?

    • Yes  : Refer to the applicable SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAM(S) and check the fuel pump driver module circuits for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair as necessary and retest.
    • No  : Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, check the restrains control module for crash event related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index.
