Test B: Coolant Temperature Gauge Reads Hot/Cold At All Times

Turn ignition on. Disconnect engine coolant temperature sensor. Connect voltmeter positive lead to temperature sensor harness connector terminal No. 1 (Green/Blue wire), and connect negative lead to ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If battery voltage is present, replace engine coolant temperature sensor. If battery voltage is not as specified, repair Green/Blue wire, or replace instrument cluster or coolant temperature gauge.
