Preliminary Inspection

Visually check air springs for cuts, abrasions and stone damage to alloy end plates. Check security of retention clips. Check height sensors for damage to housing, operating links and cable assembly. Inspect for loose or corroded connections, damaged wiring harnesses and/or switches. Check for broken or partially broken wire inside insulation, which could cause system malfunction, but prove good in a continuity/voltage check with system disconnected. Check air harness (pipes) for damage and security over its full length around vehicle. If a leak is suspected, perform LEAK TEST PROCEDURE  . If no fault is found, perform self-diagnostics.
