Switch Warning Lamps

Each of the driver operated switches contains a warning lamp to indicate air suspension operation and is controlled by the Air Suspension ECU. When ECU detects engine running, it will illuminate all lamps for three seconds as a bulb check. It does this by grounding the Warning Lamp Relay. When ECU enters access mode, ECU will flash down switch lamp by intermittently grounding the lamp. The lamp will stay on until vehicle reaches access position. When system is in extended mode, ECU will flash up switch lamp by intermittently grounding the lamp. If ECU detects a fault in system, ECU will inform driver by intermittently grounding the warning lamp relay for 30 seconds. This causes all warning lamps to flash for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, lights will remain on until repair is made.
