Electronic Air Suspension: Access

NOTE: If a door or tailgate is opened during height change from standard ride height to access mode, the height change will be halted. If a door or tailgate is closed within 30 seconds, height change will resume. After 30 seconds, height change will have to be restarted.

This position makes passenger boarding and luggage loading easier. With vehicle stationary, parking brake on (manual transmission), Park selected and brake off (automatic transmission), doors closed and INHIBIT switch off, pressing LOWER switch will select ACCESS position. It is possible to select access for 15 seconds after switching engine off. The LOWER lamp flashes until access position is reached, and then it remains constantly illuminated.

From ACCESS, vehicle will return to standard ride height if RAISE switch is pressed, or inhibit switched on or park brake released, or vehicle driven off.
