Air Dryer

CAUTION: If air dryer is removed from vehicle, ports must be plugged to prevent moisture from entering.

The air dryer is connected into air line between compressor and reservoir. It removes moisture from pressurized air entering system. When air is exhausted from system, it passes through dryer in the opposite direction. The air dryer is regenerative in that it absorbs moisture in dryer and expels it to atmosphere.

The air dryer unit is non-serviceable, designed to last life of vehicle. However, if water is found in system when reservoir drain plug is removed, air dryer must be changed.
